Mission: Impossible

Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part 1 is a jaw dropping action movie. It was quickly overshadowed by Oppenheimer and Barbie, but I must implore you to see this on the biggest screen possible. Pure entertainment. Just as good (if not better than) Top Gun: Maverick.

Over the years, the Mission: Impossible theme, has been arranged by composers; Danny Elfman, Hans Zimmer, Michael Giacchino, and Lorne Balfe. The original theme was written and composed by Argentine composer, Lalo Schifrin, for the Mission: Impossible television show (1966-1973).

For my fingerstyle version, I channeled another Argentine composer, Gustavo Santaolalla. I’m using his vibe and positioning from, The Last of Us Part II.

How to play the Mission: Impossible Theme | fingerstyle guitar

The guitar tab for this arrangement is beautifully written across 2 pages. Although this piece is relatively easy to play, I recommend it for intermediate guitar players and up.

Enjoy! The guitar tab is available below:

You’ll play the ‘Main’ section on page 1, twice.

Then the ‘End’ is on page 2.
