Killers of the Flower Moon

Directed by Martin Scorsese, Killers of the Flower Moon is set in the heart of 1920s Oklahoma, where the Osage Nation, having discovered vast oil reserves beneath their tribal lands, finds themselves thrust into immense wealth. Their newfound prosperity comes at a terrible price -- as a series of mysterious murders begins to plague the community.

The soundtrack is by the late singer/songwriter, Robbie Robertson -- who is best known for his work as the guitarist and primary songwriter for the rock group The Band. This piece is entitled, 'The Wedding'

Robertson's musical genius was the low hanging fruit of his riffology. He crafted simple guitar riffs and motifs that his contemporaries would miss altogether. As a founding member of The Band -- he's one of the most influential singer/songwriters in American history.
