Catwoman

I love this (James Bond-esque) motif from The Batman composer Michael Giacchino. It’s sexy, slinky — and definitely conjures the image of Catwoman.

How to play Catwoman | fingerstyle guitar

The guitar tab for this piece is beautifully written across a single page. Given Catwoman’s sophisticated tone, the motif is incredibly easy to play. I think that’s the beauty of my blog. I deliver you manageable arrangements that punch way above the weight class.

Enjoy, the guitar tab is available below:

You notice that the guitar tab is two pages. I wrote one with the chord shapes labeled above the tab — and one without. I found that labeling the chord shapes looks cluttered and distracting to me — as I prefer to read straight tab. However, most people like having the chords labeled.

Catwoman is essentially a short passage played twice. I’m calling that passage the ‘verse’. You’ll follow that up with the ‘end’ section.

For this arrangement, I’m playing in a Drop-D tuning: D A D G B E. I then use a capo on the 2nd fret. However, you can put that capo wherever you’d like, or even play it without.
