The Survivor

The Survivor (HBO Max) is about Harry Haft, a real-life survivor of the Auschwitz concentration camp; a complex of over 40 concentration and extermination camps, operated by Nazi Germany, in occupied Poland during World War II and the Holocaust. In Auschwitz, Haft (Ben Foster) along with his fellow prisoners, was forced to participate in a dehumanizing gladiatorial boxing spectacle.

The Survivor, also chronicles Harry Haft’s boxing career and personal life in the United States. Both of which were tortured by his PTSD and guilt from his Auschwitz survivorship.…
