The Haunting of Hill House

I loved this Netflix series from writer/director Mike Flanagan. The music by The Newton Brothers almost acts like an additional character (or ghost). If you’ve seen the series, you’ll agree the music and film are inextricably linked. This is also the title theme of The Haunting of Bly Manor.

How to play Main Title for classical guitar

The Haunting of Hill House Main Title is dynamic — but easy to play. It’s a perfect song for beginner and intermediate guitar players. This is also one of my better looking guitar tabs. It’s spaciously and beautifully written across 3 pages.

Enjoy, the guitar tab is available below:

My order of play, in accordance with the guitar tab looks like this:

Verse, Chorus, End 1

Verse, Chorus, End 2.

The Haunting of Hill House (Main Titles) | fingerstyle guitar

The Haunting of Hill House is played in one whole step down, with the 6th string dropped an additional whole step: C G C F A D.

If you prefer to play it in standard tuning, you’ll use a simple Drop D tuning: D A D G B E.
