A Child of War

I thought Rebel Moon was GREAT — and I generally root for Zack Snyder on all of his films. The plot and character development are very fast (which I like). The movie is dazzling to look at, and the creatures/humanoids are super weird. My favorite being the prisoner transport device — that is a clear ode to the chair in Beetlejuice.

The music is from Dutch composer, Tom Holkenborg (aka. Junkie XL) who has composed the music for all of Zack Snyder’s films since Batman v Superman onward. He’s most famous for the gnarly, lacerating Wonder Woman cue.

This piece is the sentimental motif from Rebel Moon. It’s first introduced as Kora is plowing the fields late into the evening. The cue is entitled, ‘The Wolf Who Became A Woman’. Later in the film, a more focused version is heard. That one is called, ‘A Child of War’.

The guitar tab for this arrangement is beautifully written across 1 page. You’ll play the entire passage twice. I recommend this piece for intermediate guitar players and up. Enjoy! The guitar tab is available below:
