The Ballad of the Lonesome Cowboy
I love Chris Stapleton’s music. The guy might be the best singer in Americana music today. Between he and Jason Isbell — you can’t go wrong sound-tracking any road trip across the heartland.
Stapleton’s Lonesome Cowboy (from Toy Story 4) is another opportunity for me to get better at Americana guitar playing. At the very least, I’m filtering this music through my style of guitar playing. Either way, I’m enjoying it.

How to play The Ballad of the Lonesome Cowboy (fingerstyle guitar)
The guitar tab is beautifully written across three pages and played straight through without repeats. I recommend this song for intermediate guitar players and up. While most of the chord shapes are easy to play, there’s a lot going on in terms of agility, timing, etc.
