Hedwig’s Theme
While I’ve never seen a Harry Potter movie (or read a book) I do like the music. I know the music has a lot of special meaning to people so I intend to do a lot more pieces from the Harry Potter films.

I based this arrangement of Hedwig’s Theme specifically on Lumos! (Hedwig’s Theme) from Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban. I’ve lowered the key a full step to make it more comfortable to play on guitar.

How to play Hedwig’s Theme – fingerstyle guitar

Hedwig’s Theme is relatively easy to play. The guitar tab is a single page long, and you’ll repeat the long passage twice. The original capo position is on the 7th fret — if you want the full Harry Potter effect. However, that high position was to uncomfortable for me to play fluidly.
Enjoy, the guitar tab is available below:
Hedwig’s Theme is played in standard tuning with (my capo) on the 5th fret.
