Bird Box

I just watched Bird Box (Netflix) and I loved it. Obviously the film draws comparisons to The Happening and A Quiet Place but it still feels highly original.

Trent Reznor & Atticus Ross bring the melancholy and creeping dread with their typical sound. I’m amazed that Trent Reznor can play a few basic chords on a piano and sound unmistakable. It’s a testament to his strong artistic identity. Even through a synthesized piano you can still tell his fingers are on the keys.
