The Last Kingdom

The Last Kingdom is a historical fiction (Netflix) series based on a series of novels entitled, The Saxon Stories by English author Bernard Cornwell. The television series is like early Game of Thrones; fast-paced storytelling, well developed character arcs, and replete with "adult themes". Episode 1, season 1 literally covers an entire decade in 50 minutes. This series had been recommended to me by multiple friends -- and it is excellent.
Livstraedrir is may favorite motif from the series. It's really the 'love theme' used throughout the seasons. I put my own spin on it -- adding hammers, pulls, and trills where applicable.
