L‘Ultima Diligenza di Red Rock
L’Ultima Diligenza di Red Rock (The Last Stagecoach to Red Rock) is the main theme from Ennio Morricone’s score for the 2015 film, The Hateful Eight. It is a haunting and atmospheric piece of music that evokes the harshness and isolation of the American frontier.
The theme is built around a simple melody that is often accompanied by sparse instrumentation, including drums, percussion, and strings. To me it invokes a feeling of creeping dread — much like The Shining. This piece is one of the most iconic themes from Ennio Morricone’s illustrious career.

The guitar tab is only 2 pages long. I recommend this for intermediate guitar players and up.
Enjoy, the guitar tab is available below:
My song structure looks like this:
Intro, Main, #1, Main #2.
I’m palm muting to the Low E string nearly the whole time. If I play a note 8 times — I simply indicate that in the guitar tab with a (……..) symbol. It’s pretty straightforward.
