Evan Handyside is a guitarist/composer based in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania. He has also performed throughout the Northeast as the bass player for the Pittsburgh-based Atl-Rock band, New Invisible Joy.

As a member of New Invisible Joy, Evan opened for numerous national artists like John Mayer, The Killers, Rufus Wainwright, and Nirvana’s Krist Novoselic.  He has also performed on television, radio, and at major-label showcases.  New Invisible Joy’s second EP was recorded in New York city with major-label producer/engineer Ed Tuton (Lenny Kravitz).

Currently Evan’s YouTube channel has over 40,000 subscribers and 5.9 million views.

Evan releases music independently and composes music for short-films. His music is comprised of contemplative, instrumental guitar pieces that employ space and ambient reverb.

Currently, Evan lives in the South Hills of Pittsburgh with his wife Jennifer, son Matthew (and dogs, Luna & Maggie). He continues to run a successful teaching business while pursuing compelling, modern content for guitar.
