Laurie and Jo on the Hill

I’m always on the hunt for good content. More than a few of my guitar students recommended the film, Little Women. I was really exited to see that Alexandre Desplat was the film’s composer.

The piece, Laurie and Jo on the Hill, is by far the most popular on Spotify. While I haven’t seen the movie yet, I did watch scene. It’s very powerful. Timothee Chalamet and Saoirse Ronan are brilliant actors.

The guitar tab for this piece is beautifully written across a single page. I recommend it for intermediate guitar players and up. This arrangement is an etude: a short, technical music composition. I love playing etudes as they’re sophisticated — but without the time investment.
