Blade Runner 1982

The original Blade Runner is one of my all time favorites. I’ve watched it a dozen times. Ridley Scott’s bleak dystopian future is still so gritty and “80’s weird” — in a conceptual way.

Like all great SiFi themes, the Blade Runner Main Titles are a sweeping, synth extravaganza — that has an adventurous tone. Nothing to indicate the truly bizarre world that Rick Deckard (Harrison Ford) must navigate.

The original score by Vangelis, is widely to considered to be one of the all time great film scores.

Gear Used

For Blade Runner 1982 I used my Cordoba GK Studio. It’s truly my best sounding guitar.

The Blade Runner 1982 Main Titles are fairly easy to play. The closing chord shapes might stall a total beginner, but most of the song uses just one or two fingers in the guitar at any given time.

The guitar tab is three pages long, and is beautifully written across three pages. You’ll play the guitar tab straight through, taking care to |: repeat :| the indicated chord section towards the end.

Overall, the is a great arrangement for beginner and intermediate guitar players.
