
I Suppose We Could Go Anywhere
I’m consistently amazed at how HBO knocks it out of the park — specifically with the Game of Thrones universe. A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms was a slightly upbeat departure in tone, but still carried all the shock value, violence, character arcs, and unexpected passings that define that world.
The pitch-perfect score by composer Dan Romer was almost Celtic in nature — like a medieval chamber ensemble acting as a hidden narrator. And at around 30 minutes per episode, the pacing is refreshingly lean. No bloat, no filler. Less time invested, more story absorbed.
The final musical cue, I Suppose We Could Go Anywhere, was an endearing moment — and I can’t wait for the next adventure with Ser Dunk and Egg.
