This piece seems to be the main motif from the Downton Abbey series and movie — perhaps the closing theme. Within the score by John Lunn, this queue is known as One Hundred Years of Downton Abbey and End of an Era. It’s also the primary theme in the The Suite.

I formulated my own arrangement, adding a couple of subtle chords in the turnaround section.

Gear used

For Downton Abbey, I used my Cordoba GK Studio guitar. It’s a low-action, pretty sounding classical with modern play-ability. You can find a current list of my gear here.

The guitar tab for this theme is beautifully written across two pages. Being that this is my own arrangement, I created one long passage that I essentially play three times through.

On the third go-around you’ll stop at the symbol and head to the ‘end’ section.
