Tomorrow I’ll Leave Blaviken For Good

It’s well known that The Witcher soundtrack is one of the best ever. The Netflix series is extremely music forward, as a central character, Jaskier (played by Joey Batey) is minstrel who follows Geralt of Rivia on his adventures.

The score, by Sonya Belousova & Giona Ostinelli, is gloriously medieval and Celtic. Tomorrow I’ll Leave Blaviken For Good is one of my favorite pieces.

How to play Tomorrow I’ll Leave Blaviken For Good | fingerstyle guitar

This arrangement is beautifully written across two pages. It’s essentially one long, passage played twice. While this song is certainly not difficult to play, I recommend Blaviken for intermediate players and up.

The song’s original capo position is on the 5th fret. However, I found the chord shapes were too cramped. Moving the capo to 3rd made this much easier to play.

Your tuning, from low to high, will look like this: D G D G B D. You’ll then put a capo on the 3rd fret.
