Payment Security with Pico and Stripe

The paywall for this blog is run by Pico. Their payment processor is powered by Stripe, the #1 payment processor in the world.

Entering card details into Pico is as safe as Amazon, and Uber — who are also powered by Stripe. If you’ve ever made a purchase online, you’ve most likely gone through Stripe and didn’t realize it.

Additionally, there’s multiple levels of security and encryption. My site is a fully secure HTTPs connection, then you have Pico’s security, and then you have Stripe which is PCI Service Provider Level 1. This is the most stringent level of certification available in the payments industry.

It’s worth mentioning that both Pico and myself are not privy to your card details – only Stripe – a globally recognized company.
