Porch

I love this piece at the end of Infinity War as Thanos limps out to his porch. I mildly get into these Avenger movies. I’ve seen them all, and I suppose my favorites were the first Iron Man, and Thor: Ragnarok. However, Infinity War is one of the best movies I’ve ever seen. Period.

Josh Brolin as Thanos was immense. He brought a complexity to the character — channeling Marlon Brando in Apocalypse Now. Rather than the typical egomaniacal bad guy and requisite dialogue — Thanos was calmly like: I am your evil overload, but let me explain why, starting with my own failure and inadequacies.

How to play Porch | fingerstyle guitar

Porch is fairly easy to play; a perfect song for beginner guitar players to get into playing a classical guitar piece.

The guitar tab is one page long, and consists of a long passage played twice through. Really, Alan Silvestri’s Porch is played just once, but I wanted to lengthen the piece as it’s so fun to play. I took the liberty of adding a bit of the Avengers theme at the end for a “to be continued” vibe.

Enjoy, the guitar tab is available below:

Porch is played one whole step down. Your tuning is as follows from low to high: D G C F A D.
