I’m still luxuriating in Benjamin Wallfisch’s score for IT. I have several of these pieces that I’d like to arrange for guitar — so stay tuned.

‘Kiss’ is a very short little tune that I felt would be perfect for beginner guitar players. It’s so short that I extended it twice the length for my guitar performance. This song is played at the very end of the movie, prior to the end credits, where character’s Billy and Beverly connect.

You can also check out my arrangement of the IT theme, Every 27 Years.

Gear Used

For Kiss I used my Cordoba GK Studio. It’s great sounding guitar, that records perfectly. I have my GK Studio strung with Savarez Red card strings. I play with my fingertips (rather than nails) so the rectified nylon on the treble strings feels WAY better than a traditional nylon string.

You can find a current list of my gear, here.

How to play Kiss, by Benjamin Wallfisch, for classical guitar

Kiss is very easy to play, and this song is perfect for beginner guitar players. The guitar tab is one page, and you’ll take care to |: repeat :| the top section twice. I play through the entire page two times. At the end, I simply repeat the top line of the guitar tab.

Kiss is played in standard tuning with a capo on the 3rd fret. Enjoy! The guitar tab is available below:
