Chevaliers de Sangreal, from The Da Vinci Code, is one of Hans Zimmer’s most famous pieces of music. Life Must Have Its Mysteries is really just an updated variation of Chevaliers de Sangreal for Ron Howard’s Inferno — the third movie of the Robert Langdon trilogy.

I also have another guitar variation of Chevaliers de Sangreal. It’s a free guitar tab, and done in a Gustavo Santaolalla-ish fingerstyle technique.

If you are a big fan of Hans Zimmer’s music like me, please check out my Hans Zimmer archive. I’ve created guitar arrangements for all of his greatest works.

How to play Hans Zimmer’s  Life Must Have Its Mysteries for guitar

I love this song — so Inferno was a great excuse to take another crack at it. I like this much better than my previous version because it’s longer, and less complicated to play.

Life Must Have Its Mysteries is easy to play, and the guitar tab is beautifully written across two pages. You’ll play this variation of Chevaliers de Sangreal straight through — taking care to repeat the section with in the |: the repeat brackets :| twice.

Enjoy, the guitar tab is available below:

Life Must Have Its Mysteries is tuned one whole step down. Your tuning will look like this, from low to high: D G C F A D.
