Before the Flood

Before the Flood is a 2016 documentary film, produced in collaboration with Leonardo DiCaprio. The film follows DiCaprio as he travels to five continents and the Arctic to witness the effects of climate change, and speak to experts and world leaders about the issue.

The music in the documentary is a collaboration between, Trent Reznor and Gustavo Santaolalla.

Thin Ice is a prime example of Gustavo Santaolalla’s ability to pick the low hanging fruit (of guitar riffs) while still being unbelievably creative. The guitar tab is only 2 pages long and played straight through.
