Nocturnal Animals

Composer, Abel Korzeniowski, is best known for, A Single Man (Tom Ford’s first film) and the Showtime series, Penny Dreadful. Abel Korzeniowski’s score for Nocturnal Animals is, in a word, elegant. It’s almost James Bond like.

Nocturnal Animals is Tom Ford’s latest psychological noir thriller. Nocturnal Animals is based on the 1993 novel, Tony and Susan, by Austin Wright. The film stars Amy Adams and Jake Gyllenhaal.

Though I’m not doing it nearly enough justice, when distilled to a single guitar, you can better see the sophisticated underpinnings of Abel Korzeniowski’s, Table For Two.

It’s a beautiful piece of music, and I tried to create the most minimal arrangement possible for guitar.

How to play Table For Two for classical guitar

Originally the guitar tab was four pages long, and I was able to pair it back to only three pages. I recommend Table For Two, for intermediate guitar players and up.

You’ll play the guitar tab straight through, taking care to repeat the indicated sections within the |:     :| symbol. The final section is repeated 3x. On the 3rd passage you’ll follow the arrow to the End section.

Please enjoy, the guitar tab is available below:

Table for two is played one 1/2 step down. Your tuning is as follows from low to high: Eb Ab Db Gb Bb Eb. Or, depending on your tuner: D# G# C# F# A# D#.
